"What must I do to be saved?" (Acts 16:30)
I. God has provided the perfect plan.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
Through God's gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, He sacrificed for your sin debt upon the cross. Showing His love for you ...in that "while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He arose from the grave and has ascended to the right hand of God and there interceding for you, invites you to come to Him and be saved.
II. Confess your sins to Jesus with humility and repentance.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."1John 1:9
By heartfelt sorrow of your guilt, that you have personally sinned and broken God's commands... He grants you access to His blood, cleansing from all your sins, and the merciful forgiveness of God!
III. Ask Jesus to save you now.
"him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." John 6:37
You must open the door to your heart and invite Christ as your Lord and Savior.
No substitute can replace true salvation ( church joining, baptism, penance, etc.)
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved!"
IV. Believe and Confess Him publicly.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
The miraculous new birth of the Spirit and adoption into God's family is your personal testimony to the mighty work of God!
